When I was 19 I got started in Real Estate by buying my first real estate investment property. A month after buying my first property I decided to get my Realtors license because I didn’t like working with Realtors so I started working with Real Estate investors Around the same time I started an Amazon business selling cell phone accessories which was doing really good but we were shut down because apparently some of the accessories we were getting from overseas were fake Then, I started a t-shirt business in college. I realized that every college club every organization bought t-shirts for their members, but these organizations were paying so much to buy the t-shirts. So I went on Google found some cheap t-shirt manufacturers, and contacted pretty much every student organization on my campus and told them that I was student and I would make them the shirts they wanted quicker and cheaper than the local printer. At this time the Real Estate prices were extremely low so I started consulting more real estate investors while getting a partial ownership stake in some commercial real estate Then at the end of college, I started my wholesale Real Estate business where I would get into an option contract to buy a property for a certain price, say $100,000, with a condition that I would try to sell the contract to buy the home to someone else. If I couldn’t find a buyer, the contract would be void. Then I would go out and try to find a buyer at a higher price, like $110,000 and I would keep the difference. That got me my first magazine feature in the Suit magazine. This was when I started working on 5 Water Socks. After 2 years in development I launched 5 Water Socks where we got over 21k of sales in the first 30 days. This was where me and my business received a lot of publicity for the success that we were seeing. We were featured in TV interviews, radio interviews, newspapers and online news outlets around the world, and multiple magazines Then after 5 Water Socks, I started shifting form just real estate consulting to business consulting and I decided to start Minority Mindset because I had been scammed and screwed over in many of my businesses and I was sued.
